She was predeceased by: her parents, Ila Ray Diehl and Joe Edward Nixon; her husband Troy Kornegay; and her siblings, Ray Nixon and Nelda Jean Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Kornegay (Eva) of Arkansas, Dennis Kornegay (Mary) of Warren, David Kornegay (Tammy) of Ivanhoe, Jean Boyd (Raymond) of Ivanhoe and Judy Carriker of Ivanhoe; her grandchildren, Melissa, Shannon, Trey, Cody, Cassie, Austin and Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Gabi, Kaitlin, Justice, Samara, Nisha, Lucian, Cayden and Gage.
