He is survived by: his wife Viki Grant Gatson; his children, Charles Derrell Jennings (Jessica), Julius Grant Gatson (Dionnah), Marian Dominique Gatson (Bryan), Ashley Monique Gatson and Alicia Danielle Gatson (Deandre); his grandchildren, Malia, Jaden, Justice Hines, Braelynn, Brynnlee Gatson, Bailey, Bella Manuel, Madyson, Brooke, Charles Jr. and Amy Jennings; his sister Debbie of Washington; his siblings-in-law, Patrick Grant, Edison Grant Jr. (Brenda), Stephen Grant and Marcia Gatson Wilson; his parents-in-law, Mary and Edison Grant Sr.; his nieces and nephews, Natasha Gatson, Keneitha Gatson Newton, E'lexas Grant, Erin of Washington, Kenneth Gatson Jr. and Edison Grant III; his aunts and uncles, Elzie Gatson, Edward Gatson (Marlene), Bobbie Chatmon and Zerlene Black; and his siblings, Hattie Booker, Jackie May, Debra Robertson, Kelley Lewis, Malcom Lewis and Dave Lewis. He is also survived by other cousins, relatives and friends.
