It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Carty of Woodville, Texas, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Martin and Hazle Martin; her husband Johnny Carty; her son Jeff Simmons; and her siblings, Medford L. Martin, Roy Lee Martin, Melvin L. Martin, Andrew Martin, Edward Martin, Ike Woodrow Martin, Lester W. Martin and Fannie M. Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Marcy Diane Cooper (Bill) of Colmesneil and Gilbert Dewayne Simmons (Kendra) of Silsbee; her grandchildren, Reiss Cooper of Colmesneil, Remi Cooper of Colmesneil, Beth Simmons of Lumberton, Katelyn Simmons of Lumberton, Hayden Simmons of Lumberton, Tyson Jace Simmons of Silsbee and Kaiden Wayne Simmons of Silsbee; and her siblings, Betty Martin of Woodville, Annie Thomas of Woodville, Bobby Wayne Martin of Huntington and Roy Gene Martin of Woodville. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
