He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maley and Irene Maley; his son Dean Ray Maley; and his brother Charles Ray Maley. He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his sons, Tommy Jr. (Marlene) of Bedford and Michael Todd (Michelle) of Richland Hills; his grandchildren, Brittany, Gary, Evan and Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Julian and Noah.
