It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Nichols Sr. of Woodson, Texas, born in Duncan, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Nichols and Pauline Franklin Nichols; his siblings, Butch Nichols and Patricia Nichols; and his son Billy Nichols, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Kristina Elting of Woodson; and his grandchildren, Bradley Whitney of Los Angeles, Andrew Oliver of Camp Lejeune and Reanna Lee of Breckenridge.
