He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ray Gayle and Freida Ann Westbrook; his grandparents, Fred Warren "Doc" Westbrook and Frances Paulene Westbrook; and his girlfriend Christine Bobbitt.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron Gayle of Canada and Amanda Turner (Cody) of Lufkin, Texas; his grandchildren, Blysse and Bennett Turner of Lufkin, Texas.; his sister Tammy Berger of Kingwood, Texas; his stepmother Marsha Ralston; his nephew Jonathan Berger; his niece Angela Burleson; his cousins, Roger and Lori Stone; and his close friends, John and Carina Wheaton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Groveton Funeral Home (1019 W 1st St, Groveton, TX 75845). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
