He is survived by: his parents, Santos R. Cortez and Carmen Cortez (Zapata) of Wolfforth; his son Jeremy Cortez of Dallas; and his siblings, Santos Jr. of Dallas, Robert of Wolfforth, Christina Cortez Richey of Lubbock, David of Wolfforth, Margaret Rodriguez (Armando) of Meadow and Teresa Cortez of Lubbock. He is also survived by 10 nieces & nephews, & 10 great-nieces & great-nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel (920 Hwy 62-82, Wolfforth, TX 79382). A rosary was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
