With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Gene Carrigan of Wolfe City, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Larry Gene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Larry Gene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Gene and Edith Loraine Manning Carrigan. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Merriman (Kevin Turner) of Tawakoni, Jeffery Carrigan (Star Carrigan), Ryan Carrigan (Jennifer Carrigan) and Derrick Carrigan (Anne Carrigan). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. W. Owens and Son Funeral Home (200 Santa Fe St, Wolfe City, TX 75496). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery (934 Co Rd 4818, Wolfe City, TX 75496).
