He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace George and Calene George; and his wife Linda Joy Woodruff-George. He is survived by: his sons, Bryan George (Billie Sue) of Wolfe City and Bill George (Amy) of Wolfe City; his grandchildren, Carrie, Christopher, Lauren, Catherine, Wyatt, Johnna and Lainey; and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Sophie, Emma, Hudson, Hayes, Truett, Porter, Lincoln, Liv, Jude, Connor and Hayden.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be given to the Scottish Rite Hospital.
