With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Monroe (Wolfe City, Texas), who passed away on March 9, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Monroe and Elizabeth Catherine Phillips Monroe; and his siblings, Louie Gene Monroe and Treva Wallace. He is survived by: his children, Larry Monroe (Carolyn), Gary Monroe (Debbie), Randy Monroe (Melissa) and Vickie Hagen (Mike); his wife Lenore Monroe; his sister Nina Faye Wisdom; and his sister-in-law Jean Monroe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

The family requests that donations be sent to Mt. Carmel Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 9, Wolfe City, Texas 75496.
