He is survived by: his mother Doris (Lucretia LaRue McDaniel); his children, Cheth McDaniel, Chasta McDaniel, Bailee McDaniel and Billy McDaniel, Jr.; his wife Seneca McDaniel; his stepchildren, Samuel LaRue and Elizabeth LaRue; his brothers, Ross McDaniel (Tammy), Jeff McDaniel and Joanna; and also James Chisum McDaniel. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
