James Thomas Spratlin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Thomas Spratlin of Winona, Texas, born in Haleyville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Denvard and Lady Muriel Spratlin (Mallard); his brothers, Carl Spratlin Jr. and Donald Spratlin; and his grandfather JT (Tommy).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Spratlin of Winona; his children, Wendy Simmons (Joby) of Winona, Tonia Boyer (David) of Lubbock and Camie Stone (Russ) of Auburn, Alabama; his sisters, Jackie Greenlee of Lubbock and Carolyn Rogers (Randal) of Canton, Georgia; his grandchildren, Amber Brock (Brandon), Tyler Boyer, Hayden Simmons and Brooklyn Boyer; and his great grandchildren, Kherington, Piper and Koby Brock.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771).
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to: Faulkner University: 5345 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
