She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Watkins and Minnie Lee Watkins; and her siblings, Arthur Watkins, Franklin Watkins, Henry Watkins, Lee Watkins, Oscar Watkins, Richard Watkins, Troy Watkins and Georgia Watkins.

She is survived by: her husband J. D. Wolverton; her siblings, Roy Watkins of Lumberton, Mississippi and Glenda Golden of Centerville, Alabama; and her children, Carl Watkins, Ray Scott of Pickton, TX, James Scott of Winnsboro, TX and Martha Ann Scott of Glenpool, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
