He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Spence and Helen Spence; and his sister Sherrie Post. He is survived by: his wife Pam Spence of Winnsboro; his children, Scotty Spence and Jessica Carr; and his siblings, Charles Wayne Spence, Richard Spence of Winnsboro and Regina Perteet of Winnsboro.
