It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy Don Phillips of Winnsboro, Texas, born in Brownfield, Texas, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, S. T. Phillips and Nona Mae McRae Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Pauline McCarthy Phillips; his brother Ken; his sister-in-law Marlyn Phillips of De Queen, Arkansas; his children, Amy (Micah Miller), Sarah (Stephen Weiss), Matthew (Kristina Phillips) and Glenn (Courtney Elliott); his niece Tina Phillips of Searcy, AR; and his nephew S. T. Phillips of Pascagoula, MS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great nephews and other family members and friends.
The family requests that everyone wear a face mask and practice social distancing for safety.
