He was predeceased by: his parents, Dud Vaughn and Ruby Pool; and his wife Virginia Vaughn. He is survived by: his children, David Brent Vaughn of Gilmer and Gailya Ruble (Jimmy Sands) of Sulphur Springs; his siblings, Kenneth Vaughn of Hawkins, Bob Vaughn of Mt. Pleasant, Duke Vaughn (Rita) of Winnsboro, Judy Hodges of Winnsboro, Linda Kay Klika of Winnsboro, Sue Scott (Joe) of Sulphur Springs and Martha Flores of Winnsboro; his grandchildren, Haley Ruble and Ginger Ruble; and his great grandchild Saylar Schroeder.
