He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Henson and Imogine Henson; and his brother Robert Henson. He is survived by: his wife Norma Henson of Winnsboro; his sons, Christopher Lynn Henson of Rusk and Michael Chad Henson of Ft; his wife Sherry of Ft; his daughters, Leslie Ann Lindsey (Buddy) of Ben Wheeler, Kristen Cartwright (Will) of Irving and Sheena White (Ryan Minick) of Winnsboro; and his siblings, James Henson of Winnsboro, Ricky Henson of Winnsboro, Damon Henson of Winnsboro, Virginia Hand of Winnsboro, Gloria Stinger of Winnsboro and Lisa Spence of Winnsboro. He is also survived by grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
