She was predeceased by: her father Dr. Charles A. Garrett; her husband Jerry Moyers, Sr.; and her brother Charles A. Garrett, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Jerry; her daughter-in-law June Moyers; her son James Moyers; her cousins, John Nabors, Wesley Nabors and Joanna Horton; and her nieces, Leslie Garrett and Sister Mary Elizabeth Garrett.
