He was predeceased by: his father William L. Berkely; his daughters, Melinda Hackett, Kay Chaney and Janet Cagle; his great grandchild Preslee Tabor; and his siblings, B. W. Berkley, Jack Berkley, Wesley Berkley, Cotton Berkley, Minnie Berkley, Mary Berkley, Bill Berkley, Chock Berkley and Harold Berkley.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Berkley of Winnsboro; and his children, Melissa "Lissa" Berkley of Graham, Texas, Connie Cagle of Pickton, Michelle Whitehurst (Dennis) of Winnsboro and Cody Cagle of Pickton. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
