She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Weldon Richey and Winnie Mae Evers Richey; her son Rocky Shannon Shelton; her granddaughter Misty Shelton; and her nephew Jake Richey.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Shelton (Sonny); her sisters, Paula Thomas of Scroggins, Beverly Gibson (Don) of Garland, Rose Mary Gunn (Mike) of Scroggins and Janis Crosby (Bill) of Hideaway; her aunts, Barbara Boyd of Plano and Melba Sue Hopkins of Denton; her sister-in-law Shirley Brannon of Corpus Christi; and her pets, Itty Bitty, Bleu and Foxy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces.
Her desire is in lieu of flowers donations be made in her memory to the Winnsboro Animal Shelter or Pineforest Cemetery Veterans Wall, Pickton, Texas.
