She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Hart and Annie Hart; her brother Joe Hart; and her nephew Joey Thomas Hart Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Mark Sims; her daughter LaTasha Taylor; her granddaughter Trista Taylor; her sister Dana Hart; her grandmother Wanda Sims; her sister-in-law Karen Sims; her niece Stacey Hart Bennett (Ricky); and her nephew Eric Hart (Susan). She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Winterfield Cemetery.
