He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hanson of Ben Wheeler; his sons, Edd Hanson (Raina) of Como, David Wayne Attaway of Pueblo, CO, Donny Attaway of Grain Valley, MO, Johnny Attaway (Angie) of Lee's Summit, MO, Darrell Attaway (Shannon) of Mabank and Kenneth Attaway of Winnsboro; and his siblings, Tommy Hanson (Diane) of Tyler, Jim Hanson (Shara) of Mineola, Shirley Brooke of Mineola and Sherry Nichols (David) of Mineola. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
