He was predeceased by: his parents, JD Blackburn and Lola Roberts Blackburn; and his brother Jerry Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ruth Hackney; his sons, Jason Roberts Blackburn of Lubbock and Justin Wade Blackburn; his daughter-in-law Monica Olivas Blackburn of Farmers Branch; his brother James D Blackburn MD; his sisters-in-law, Ann of Jefferson and Monika Blackburn Sullivan of Jefferson; his cousin Jeffrey Fuquay (Dawn) of Jefferson; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Hackney (Nancy) of Athens, Martha Hackney Summerlin (Travis) and Mary Hackney Andrews of Marshall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
