He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Earl Sayles and Aline Thurmond Sayles; and his siblings, John Sayles, Jerry Sayles and Pamela Grant.
He is survived by: his former wife Odessa Slayton; his children, Tabitha Sayles and Steven Sayles (Santhipia Sayles); his sisters, Manina Mathis and Patricia White-Craig (Kenneth Craig); and his grandchildren, Steven Sayles II, Tierany Coleman, Maliya Nixon and Zoe Sayles.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494).
