With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Len Sparks Sr. (Winnsboro, Texas), who passed away on November 30, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Sparks and Margie Kenner Sparks; and his brother Butch Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sparks; his children, Len Sparks (Margaret) and Melinda Roach (Joe); his siblings, Sid Sparks (Kathy), Lewis Sparks (Debbie), Jan Newsome (Roy), Mary Catherine Rogers and Mozella Parr (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Colby Strain, Braxston Cole, Joey May, Brian Johnson, Danny Johnson, McKenzie Moody and Heather Garvin. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Bethel Cemetery.
