He was predeceased by: his parents, A. D. "Gus" and Grace Johnson; his brothers, Jack Johnson and Larry Johnson; his sister-in-law Joyce Johnson; and his nephew Bobby Johnson.
He is survived by: his brother Royce Johnson; his sister-in-law Jan Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Kenny Johnson, Keith Johnson, Craig Johnson, Mike Johnson, Kim Garrison and Jeannie Sims.
