He is survived by: his wife Carloyn Spence; his children, Chad Spence (Wendy), Edward Spence (Amy), Carol Hurley (Forest) and Kathy Dobecka (Jimmy); his brothers, Morris Spence, Cary Spence, Gary Spence and Donald Spence; his grandchildren, Dugan Winkle, Hanna Richison, Thaddeous Richison, Kaleb Hurley, Jakeb Hurley, Duston Spence, Kara Caldwell, Haid Rowland, Wyatt Spence, Weston Spence, Madison Spence, Jessie Spence, Gracie Spence, Cody Metcalf, Candice Metcalf and Bobby Metcalf; and his great grandchildren, Lilly, Cierra, Raneigh, Hunter, Braxton, Ally, Brayden and Bentley. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
