She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Roscoe and Mattie Ethel Messimer (Russom); her daughter Joy Sims; her siblings, Willie Salmon, May Belle Payne, Mozelle Mills, Eddie Messimer and Kyle Messimer; and her granddaughter Sandy Trevino.
She is survived by: her husband George Harold Kennemer (Ike); her children, Harold E. Kennemer (Sylvia) of Round Rock and Vickie Kennemer of Winnsboro; her grandchildren, Gary Sims (June) of Golden, Mike Sims (Cathy) of Chandler, Jason Sims (Sharon) of Crossroads and Lisa Beyer (Rick) of Celina; her great grandchildren, Garret, Claire, Michael, Catie, Jaci, Nick, Robert and Nathaniel; and her great great grandchild Luke. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
