He was predeceased by: his parents, H. B. Shirley and Emmela Shirley; his wife Tommie Jo Shirley; his daughter Sandra K. Burden; his siblings, David, Joe, Lewis, Jimmy, Mack Shirley of Conway and Jane; his nephew Joedan Shirley; and his great grandchild Jordan Keith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bobbie Davis (Shannon), Jimmie Lou Rouse (David) and Dianah Murphy; his siblings, Perry of Winnsboro Texas, Jon of Winnsboro Texas, Tim of Oklahoma and Elizabeth Shirley of Waynesboro Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Tommy Burden, Jennifer Houchins, Ronnie Miller (DJ), Stacey Gregory, Tracey Fortner (Jesse), Kimberly Kempson (Brad), Jeremy Davis (Christy), Christopher Davis and Ryan Davis (Laney). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, and nephews.
