He is survived by: his mother Hazel Fay Durbin; his wife Dannielle Rushing; his sons, Galen Dakota Rushing (Julie) and Kolten Bennett (Jessica); his sister Sandra Gail Busby; and his grandchildren, Galen Daniel, Gavin Lee, Aspen Lucille, Tyler Cochise and Karson Bryant.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Smyrna Cemetery.
