He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Franklin Mead and Helen Corraine Mead (Guinn); his siblings, Raymond Allen Mead, James Mead, D'Ann Davis and Janith Means; and his grandson Joshua Caleb Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mead of Winnsboro, Texas; and his children, Brandi K. Mead Pryor (Paul), Scott A. Mead (Heather), Floyd Mead, Amber J. Davis and Justin Davis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
