He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Bass; his wife Carol Ann Gearner; his sister Gailya Gearner of Winnsboro; his children, Mitchell Gearner of Houston, Derek Gearner (Debbie) of Dallas and Sheila Gearner of Grand Prairie; his grandchildren, Shanna, Kent, Daniel, Ashlee, Dustin, Kristen and Katelyn; and his great grandchildren, Maddy, Hannah, Cameron, Goldie, Paxton and Bennett.
