Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Franklin Bookout and Sarah Louise "Ruby" Preston Bookout; and her siblings, Earl Bookout (Donna) and Frances Kossey (James). She is survived by: her son John Dorough; her grandchildren, Charles McLean (Donna Wade), Sarah Clark (Eric), Anthony McLean, David McLean (Aubrie) and Nina Sprague (Dalton); and her great grandchildren, Nathan Clark, Emily Clark, Preston Crow, Gabe Crow, Caden Crow and Easton Sprague.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Lakeview Cemetery (5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604).
