He is survived by: his wife Angela Newton Wylie; his brother James Earl Wylie of Whitehouse; his stepchildren, Travessa Tinney Newsome, Kevin Tinney (Ashley) and Shelley Hodges (David); his nephew Jared Wylie; and his nieces, Rebekah (Andy Christopher), Rachel (Jay Boyd), Jessica Woodfin and Christa Castillo.
