He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Albert and Carrie Joyner Johnson; his daughter Stephanie Newberry; and his sister Margaret Ibbot. He is survived by: his wife Betty Brown Johnson; his children, Andy Johnson, Fred Walters, Karen Cameron (Andy Bohmer), Kathy Petty (Jerry), Anna Ward (Lawrence) and Christine Duke; and his brother James Johnson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
