She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Frangenberg and Modelle Frangenberg; her husband Joseph Messimer, Sr.; her grandchildren, Ryan Messimer and Kimberly Messimer; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Gustin, Patricia Ann Nelson, Frances Melton, Michael Anthony Frangenberg and Edward Joseph Frangenberg.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Messimer, Jr. and Keith Messimer (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Heather Barnhill, Summer Tate, Treas Schell and Lakken Messimer; her great grandchildren, Halle, Wylder, Nayvie, Decklyn, Oakleey and Hudson; and her siblings, Peter Richard Frangenberg (Adele), Samuel Kent Frangenberg (Glenda), Mark C. Frangenberg, Frank T. Frangenberg (Donna), Sandra Rose Young (DD), Bernadette Mathis (Pat) and Margaret Connelly (Max).
