He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Arlon "Doc" Busby and Ida Mae Harris Busby; his wife Pat Busby; his former wife Sue Ann Price Busby; and also, Louise George and Hazel Fry.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Busby and Christy Worsham (Preston); his stepchildren, Crystal Spence (Cary Lynn), Debbie Hanselka (Rudy) and Scott Taylor (Jean); his siblings, Charles Busby (Linda), Joe Bob Busby (Carolyn), Peggy Wilson (Marvin) and Betty Grace; and his grandchildren, Myia Riley, Taylor Spence, Maghan Spence, Logan Spence, Leslie Tillotson, Cooper Puckett, Lane Puckett, Alex Larez, Chloe Taylor and Evie Taylor. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
