It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Berkley of Winnsboro, Texas, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Jean Berkley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lee Ellison and Juanita Ella Barrow Ellison; her children, Cody Cagle, Janet Cagle, Melinda Hackett and Kay Chaney; her siblings, James, Thomas, Benjamin Ellison, Betty Cooper and Linda Heady; and her granddaughter Preslee Tabor.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Wayne Berkley; and her daughters, Connie Cagle of Scroggins and Michelle Whitehurst (Dennis) of Winnsboro. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and thirty one great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro (816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
