He was predeceased by: his father Ivan Bertrand; his wife Carolyn Dorsey Bertrand; his parent Ivy Bertrand; and his brother Clarence Bertrand. He is survived by: his children, Fran Bledsoe (Tom) of Sour Lake, Wesley Bertrand of Winnie, Casey Bertrand (Cindy) of Winnie, Vincent Bertrand of Winnie and Lane Bertrand (Ashli) of Anahuac; his sisters, Lillian Gray of Kenner and Shirley Eskridge (Don) of Metairie, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Randi Garner (Ron), Bailey Bledsoe, Collin Bledsoe, Tracy Bledsoe (Lauren), Travis Bertrand (Charissa), Greg Bertrand, Samantha Bertrand (Shannon), Skipper Bertrand, Tristan Bertrand, Peyton Bertrand, Cameron Bertrand, Sydney Bertrand and Brady Bertrand; and his great grandchild Layla Bertrand.
