She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Ann LaPointe Abshire and Percy Louis Abshire; her granddaughter Kristy Cathey; her brother Lester J. Abshire; and her pet Paco.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Montgomery of Winnie; her daughter Theresa Cathey (Kenny) of Winnie; her grandson Kenneth C. "Bubba" Cathey (Betsy) of Stowell; her sister Elaine Eckman (Richard) of Clear Lake; her stepsons, Larry Wayne Montgomery of Winnie and Stephen Montgomery (Mary) of Lindale; and her stepgrandchildren, Caleb Montgomery, Elizabeth Montgomery, Julia Montgomery, Addison Montgomery, Lauren Montgomery and Kristina Montgomery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
