He is survived by: his significant other Rita Byrd; his brother Dennis Heflin; his stepbrothers, Mike Heflin and Butch Heflin; his aunts, Shirley Edwards of Winnie and Nan Couners of Winnie; and his sister-in-law Becky Stevens.
