He is survived by: his mother Marian Hall Turney of Porter; his wife Belinda Turney; his children, Alanna Turney May (Tim) of Missouri, Richard Alan Turney, Jr. (Loralea) of Cypress, Kara Turney of Dallas, Eric Tewes of Willis, Chris Tewes of Dallas, Aimee Tewes of Kingwood, Steve Miles (Roxie) of Austin, Lindsey Matkin (Cade) of Winnie and Melanie Hendrix of Houston; his siblings, Jerry Turney (Yvonne) of Cypress, Phyllis Hancock of Porter and Cindy Ramsey (Scott) of Austin; and his grandchildren, Landon Harmon, Logan Harmon, Victoria Harmon, Braelynn Hoskins, Brynnleigh Hoskins, Beck May, Cody Broom, Hayden Broom, Hannah Turney, Bryant Matkin and Bailee Matkin.
