He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucy Leger and Joseph Wayne Murrell; his sons, Louis W. Murrell of Sour Lake and Mykal L. Murrell of Nome; his siblings, Ronald E. Murrell of Winnie, Michael Murrell of Sour Lake, Susan Murrell of Florida, David Murrell (Dina) of Winnie and Edward Murrell of Winnie; and his grandchildren, Justine Clegg of Mauriceville, Kynliegh Murrell of Mauriceville and Louis Wayne "Buddy" Murrell II of Mauriceville. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
