It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe B. Abalos (Winnie, Texas), who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe B. Abalos to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cathy Lozano; and his children, Joe Jr. and Denise. He is survived by: his siblings, Selso, Manuel, Maggie, Maria and Alejandra; his cousin Joe Lee (Sonia Abalos); and his caregivers, Practitioner Dana Henderson, Dr. Oszczakiewicz and Dr. Fasulo. He is also survived by his 7 children, 17 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Joe and Cathy Abalos Memorial Scholarship fund, which has been in existence for 9 years to honor the value they both placed on academia.
