She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Mae Johnson Chapman and Robert Edward Chapman; her son Gregory "Greg" Phelps; and her siblings, Richard Chapman and Rosa Lee Mohtasham.
She is survived by: her husband John William "Dub" Phelps; her children, Renee Murrell (Ronald) of Winnie, Diana Swor (Billy) of Chico and John William "Willie" Phelps, Jr. of Anahuac; her grandchildren, Rachel, Katy, Cody (Sarah), Corey (Jessica), Coby, Trent, Tiffany, Cade (Sarah) and Madison; her brothers, Bobby Chapman (Barbara) of Gainesville and Tommy Chapman; and her grandchild Arlington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
