He is survived by: his mother Mary Heiner Bauer of Winnie; his wife Christie Bauer; his children, Gerald Bauer (Marcia) of Winnie, Sherri Tidwell (Gary) of DeQuincy, Louisiana and Jennifer Abshire (Tim) of Fannett; his sisters, Carol Walther of Maryville, Janet Taylor of Houston and Linda Bauer of Bastrop; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Mengers, Shelby Bauer, Colton Elkins, Kash Bauer, Kimber Bauer, Kerri Gresham, Nicholas Abshire and Gracelyn Abshire; and his great grandchildren, Holden Gollihare and Allen Mengers.
