He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Massingill Sherrill and Earl Lloyd Sherrill, Sr.; his wife Yvonne Sherrill; his daughter-in-law Gayla Renee Sherrill; and his sisters, Eva Louis Murphee, Edna Mae Rogers and Virginia Katherine Spain.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Wade Sherrill of Bride City; his grandchildren, Tyler Ladner (Lisa) of Port Neches and Kaylon Brack (Ryan) of Orangefield; his great grandchildren, Kortni Gunn, Kamryn Brack, Jenna Ladner and Madilyn Brack; his sister Myrl Blakney (Roger) of Shreveport, Louisiana; his niece Cyndi Thornton (Steve) of Monroe, Louisiana; and his sister-in-law Gay Nell Koehn.
