He is survived by: his siblings, Huey Abshire of Hamshire and Earline DeVille of Sulphur; his children, Tom Curtis Abshire of Winnie, Concetta Rollins (Malcolm Rollins) of Hamshire, Kim Mazzola (Johnny Mazzola) of Winnie and Kay Benson of Winnie; and also Paula Rothwell of Winnie. He is also survived by grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
