We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2020 we had to say goodbye to John Dean of Wingate, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roland Ray and Lola Lorena Dean (Gannaway); his close friend Betty; his sister Margaret Bodine; his son Ricky Dean; his son-in-law Billy; his daughters, Teresa (Carey) and Carla (Bryant); and his grandchildren, Byron Stephenson (Stacie), Brad Stephenson (Megan), Justin Jones (Devon), Jared Chapman (Kristin), Hollie Kell (Stephen), Hailey Wilkinson, Rodney Wilkinson, Courtney Wilkinson, Cade Jobe (Bana) and Kearci Smith (Lewis). He was also cherished by his four children, many grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

“To the Dean Family: Many heartfelt prayers -- Hollis and Betty were the best neighbors ever in Wingate.. we were so lucky to live just next door! Always there to lend a hand and a smile and a story. Hollis taught me the "proper" way to Two Step. We loved going over to the Shed and to this day their brisket and sauce are the best we have ever tasted.
