Jerry Don Simmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2020, at the age of 84, Jerry Don Simmons of Windom, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melton Revere "Bud" and Laverne Simmons (Lackey); and his siblings, Joyce Simmons, Shirley Crawford and Terry Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his brother Pete; his siblings-in-law, Linda Simmons, Karen Simmons, Ken, Kristine Hall, Charlie, Susan Fajardo, Jon and Hayley Hall; his grandchildren, Connor Hall, Collin, Valerie Hall, Callum Hall, Kylee Kittrell, Kameron Kittrell, Mark Fajardo, Marisa Fajardo, Will Hall and Marie Hall; and his great grandchild Amelia Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, loving friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial gifts be directed to First Central Presbyterian Church in Abilene, 400 Orange St., Abilene, TX 79601; Windom United Methodist Church, PO Box 936, Windom, TX 75492 or to the Honey Grove Public Library, 500 N 6th St., Honey Grove, TX 75446 in his honor.
